Land that is practical, desirable and affordale is identified and depending on its price, will cost around $8k - $25k per hectare you would typically have around 1000 - 2500 square metres for a personal dwelling and the balance in the community commons for shared buildings, gardens, orchards, etc .

So how does this work? (The math) Using Trademe (a New Zealand sales and auction website) as a guide for land fit for purpose and pricing, As examples we chose 8 nice farms and other land most suitable for settlement, the prices varied between $8k - $18k per hectare. That's an average of $13k per hectare, with those properties being between 10ha and 300ha. Imagine we have around 300 people on board and so... 300 people x $50 each per week x 52 weeks per year = $780,000 per year. Over 5 years that's $3.9 million , thats 300 hectares @ $13k per hectare, or 100 people with $25k.

The current top of the list is is HERE

For as little a $10k to $25K a 1 hectare share can be obtained as a starting point toward true sustainable life on earth.
